| Care Instructions for Proper Healing of Body Piercing (Naval - Nipples - Eyebrows - Nose - Ears) Standard Surface Piercings Things you will need: **H2Ocean (Sold At Uncle Freddie's)** Antibacterial Soap, Sea Salt, or Bactine |
Wash your hands before ever handling your piercing!! Clean your jewelry and the area around your
piercing, if you have any dried discharge on the area. Make sure you always move the jewelry as you
are cleaning it!! Clean your new piercing at least 4 times, throughout the day. If you are using the
H2Ocean solution, DO NOT USE THE ANTIBACTERIAL SOAP !! You may still do the sea salt
soaks with the H2Ocean, but this is not necessary since the solution already contains purified ocean
salt water. If you DO NOT use the H2Ocean solution, wash your new piercing with the antibacterial
soap and rinse with clean water at least twice a day. Use the sea salt solution after using the
antibacterial soap (3 small pinches to 1 ounce of warm water). Use Bactine spray at least twice daily if
you are using the antibacterial soap. Never use any type of ointments or creams on your new piercing.
It will attract bacteria!! Never use alcohol, peroxide, or neosporin on any new piercing! Do Not change
your jewelry for at least 9 weeks! Do Not swim in pools, lakes or hot tubs for at least 9 weeks! The
ocean is great for a new piercing!! Do Not take advice from your friends or Know-It-Alls. They will
mislead you! Do Not stop cleaning your piercing and be patient, piercings take months to heal!

| Oral Piercings ( Tongue, Labret & Lip) H2Ocean, Bactine or Antibacterial soap can be used on the outside for the labret or lip piercing. Antiseptic mouth rinse should be used after and between every meal. Rinse with antimicrobial or antiseptic mouth rinse every time you eat, drink or smoke. Advil or similar (Ibuprofen not Acetaminophen), will help alleviate any swelling or pain that may occur. Cold items will also assist in reducing the swelling of the new piercing. Smoking is not recommended and will prolong the healing process. Avoid all oral contact until piercing is fully healed. DO NOT DRINK BEER as it contains yeast which will cause swelling. Do Not play with your new piercing as this may cause larger problems to develope. |
